Fabrication is at the core of what we do.

At Friginox, we cut, form, weld and assemble steel into equipment built for demanding industrial applications.

Our workshop brings these capabilities together under one roof, giving us direct control over the fabrication process from raw material to finished equipment.

Operation 01

Cutting

Accurate cutting starts every good fabrication.

Our cutting department prepares steel plates and components using plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment.

This allows us to handle different plate thicknesses and geometries while preparing parts accurately for forming, welding and assembly.

Operation 02

Forming

We shape steel to the requirements of the job.

Our workshop is equipped for both bending and rolling, allowing us to form steel plates into the shapes needed for tanks, vessels and custom equipment.

With press brake and plate rolling equipment in-house, our teams can move directly from cut plate to formed components ready for assembly.

Operation 03

Dished Ends

Manufactured in-house.

Friginox has a dedicated department for the production of dished ends and formed heads.

These components are used across tanks, vessels and process equipment and are produced to match the dimensions and specifications of each project.

Keeping this capability in-house gives us better control over fit, quality and production.

Operation 04

Welding

Strong fabrication depends on strong welding.

Our welding capabilities cover a range of materials, applications and joint requirements.

We use different welding processes depending on the type of equipment being fabricated and the material involved.

  • GMAW

    Semi-automatic welding used across general fabrication and assembly.

  • GTAW

    Precision welding particularly suited to stainless steel and applications requiring a high-quality finish.

  • SAW

    Submerged arc welding for long seams and larger fabricated components.

Operation 05

Assembly

From individual components to complete equipment.

Our assembly teams bring together cut, formed and welded components into complete fabricated equipment.

Fit-up, positioning, welding and final assembly are all carried out within our workshop, allowing our teams to maintain control throughout production.

Dished ends department

Cold-formed dished ends, a first in Morocco

Friginox opened the country’s first department dedicated to cold-forming dished ends. The heads that close your tanks and pressure vessels come out of the same workshop as their shells.

Landmark build

An 11,800 mm diameter spherical cap for OCP

The first cap of this diameter made in Morocco. It was built from welded segments in our Casablanca workshop, then loaded onto a trailer bound for the client’s site.
